Como es de público conocimiento, el coronavirus de 2019 es un nuevo virus respiratorio que se
identificó por primera vez el 7 de enero de 2020 en China.

La tasa de letalidad de los casos reportados es 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡 𝟯%.

Según los datos disponibles a la fecha, los principales transmisores del virus son los casos sintomáticos. Con mayor frecuencia, la propagación de persona a persona ocurre entre contactos cercanos (menos de 2 metros de distancia), esto se produce a través de las gotitas respiratorias que se eliminan al toser y estornudar, de manera similar a como ocurre con Influenza y otros patógenos respiratorios.
